GOELEVEN Team Manager sets the bar high for Ramos in 2017

Roman Ramos headed the private Kawasaki Team GOELEVEN this season. He finished in the top ten, three times with ninth being his best result and collected points at every race except for Imola and Sepang, where he didn’t race due to injuries. Despite the mid season hiccough, the Spaniard was still able to finish 15th overall and has retained his spot within the Italian run team for next year.

“For us it’s been an exciting season with many intensive moments,” explained Denis Sacchetti, Team GOELEVEN Team Manager. “Some moments have been good, some difficult but Roman has worked a lot this year and is fast we are happy about his results and we have finished every race with points so we are satisfied with our overall results in the Championship. For next season we have confirmed another year with Roman Ramos. We will work a lot with the bike because we want to improve the bike and we’re aiming to be in the top five in some races and I hope also overall in the Championship. We are a private team so we will try our best to compete with the official teams at the front.”

With Kawasaki Racing Team taking out the Riders’, Teams’ and Manufacturers’ Championships this year, Sacchetti will be able to count on helpful information from the Japanese marque to help develop his bikes. But Ramos isn’t the only rider he needs to think about. The GOELEVEN flag waved not only in WorldSBK but also in WorldSSP this year, with riders Christian Gamarino and Ondrej Jezek. And plans remain the same to run both teams next year and much to improve; Denis Sacchetti has a big job ahead.

“In Supersport we’ve had good and bad results this season,” reviewed Sacchetti. “We want to return to the top next season so we will continue to work with our young riders to give them every possibility to move up or continue to ride in this Championship. The level of the Supersport Championship is really high, so for us we are glad to be able to compete in this Championship.“
